General Questions:
Q. Can parents bring photo and video cameras?
A. We will allow family members to video and photograph their child's' or friends' performance as long as it is done from their seat and in an unobtrusive or distracting manner. It is expected that this video or photo is for personal use and therefore professional type equipment, videoing or photographing multiple performances, (i.e. an entire division, or every team from a gym) simply cannot be allowed. Tripods are not allowed.
Q. How much is admission?
A. The price for adults and children five years of age and over is $7 for regional events. Sweetheart Classic and MS & JV States is $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and students. Children under 3 are admitted at no cost.
Q. What time can the spectators enter the competition?
A. The doors to the venue will open at 9:00 a.m. unless otherwise mentioned on the Spirit Xpress website (Sweetheart & States will be earlier).

Q. What safety rules are enforced?
A. School teams will follow National Federation Guidelines. Spirit Xpress follows the level breakdowns, safety guidelines, and glossary as recommended by the National All Star Cheerleading Coaches Congress and adopted by the United States All Star Federation which may be found at www.usasf.net.. Please consult all three documents prior to attending the competition. For current updates and revisions please see www.usasf.net. Spirit Xpress does not assess penalty points for hands down, bobbles, or falls on an infraction - by - infraction basis. However, these performance errors are heavily considered in overall execution, technique and overall impression.
Penalties are given for safety guideline or ability level violations. Please remember, NO JEWELRY!
Q. Will different divisions be combined?
A. Spirit Xpress Cheerleading reserves the right to move teams to a higher level when there are not three teams in a division. You will be notified of any change in level prior to the competition. Teams will not be notified if small and large divisions are combined.
Performance Times, Practice and Judging:
Q. When will we find out when and where we need to be?
A. The final schedule of events and the final order of competition will be available on the Spirit Xpress website by 5pm, two days prior to the event date.

Merchandise and Concessions:
Spirit & Co. will have the latest in cheer and dance merchandise available throughout the competition.Concessions will be available! No food or drink in the gym please.
